Hello everyone, yesterday in our English period we have to do a task but you need to pick which one you're gonna do. Our teacher said that no one has ever finished/made a Kahoot by her student because it's the hardest one. I love to be challenged with hard tasks so I picked Kahoot.

How To Properly Shot Shot Put and Discus

Hello everyone, today I learned how to properly throw a shot. So I'm teaching you how


Step 1: Holding the shot

Place the shot at the base of your fingers, not the palm. Spread your fingers slightly apart and use your thumb to prevent the shot from rolling off. 

Step 2: Starting position 

Press the shot to the area of the neck beneath your jaw. Keep your elbow high, so that it appears horizontal to your shoulders. If the shot drops below your shoulder during the put, it will be considered a foul throw.

Step 3: The legs 

Stand with your left shoulder pointing at the target and your body facing the direction perpendicular to your shoulder (for right-handers). Keep your feet wide apart, and bend the right leg, so that you tilt backwards. Twist your body so that you face the opposite direction of your target. This is your starting position.

Step 4: Putting the shot 

When you are ready, push off with your back foot and twist your hips, and then your body to face the target direction of your put. Extend your arm and propel the shot into distance at a 45-degree angle. When you shoot the shot, flick your wrist in a way similar to how you would shoot a basketball or netball.

How to properly throw DISCUS/ DISCUS techniques.

1. Roll-off your small finger.
2. Wrap 4 fingers around it.
3.  Stand side on the line.
4. 1 wind-up. (Not 3)

Self Directed Learners

Hi everyone this is my goal for this semester in English.

As a Self Directed Learner I
Have a positive attitude to all parts of learning including setbacks.	Know what skills I need to develop so I can learn.	Can tell others the ways how I like to learn and what suits me best.
Know what work I need to complete and set goals based on this.	Manage my learning time so I complete all tasks.	Catch up on work I miss or fall behind on in my own time.  I would not waste my time in some useless things. I’m gonna sleep early so I wouldn’t be tired at class and getting my work done at the right time. I’m not gonna mind other people businesses and focus on my one.
Ask for feedback when I am unsure.	I reflect on my learning by asking: How do I know what I’ve learned? Can I explain what I’ve learnt to someone else? Can I apply what I’ve learned when creating my work.

Writing | Apocalyptic

Hello everyone this past few weeks we had to make our own sentences about the photo.

1. Write a simple sentence that describes something about the picture.
2. Add adjectives to the simple sentence, to add more detail.
3. Add more language features like similes or metaphors to enhance the sentence.
4. Use topic words directly related to the picture.
5. Use emotive language to create/clarify mood.
6. Paint a clear picture in the mind of my readers and give the reader detailed and specific information.
